Selling our travel trailer (home sweet home for 18 months!)

We intended that the travel trailer would be temporary - 6 to 8 months or so. We didn't anticipate how the permitting process would delay progress on every phase of development (five separate permits required by different departments of the County!).

We had never intended to keep the travel trailer after we were in the house. So when that event came we advertised in CraigsList, presenting a nice selection of photos. As we two adults and two dogs lived in it we suggested that this could be a comfortable arrangement even in its 26-foot length.

The next day we had several interested prospective buyers, one of whom visited and offered our asking price on the spot. We had prepared everything that he needed to have to use the trailer as temporary housing, somewhat like we had, and the next day he drove off with that important part of developing our property and building the house
