Keeping busy in wintertime

I've been successful in keeping busy, primarily outdoors, to "keep moving" as in "closing my rings" and "reaching my step goals."

Such success became more difficult to achieve as temperatures dropped to freezing, wind and rain became distracting events.

So, to avoid vegetating, I moved to an old comfort of updating my wiki and leaning web development software.

This meant finding some new software, I started with the regular installation of WordPress, finding it as in the past unnatural and limiting. My old familiar framework of Joomla! had become fragmented and lacking traditional developer support. So I looked around and some potential with my nemesis WordPress and found page builders that worked on top it, and settled on Breakdance a so-called 'Modern Visual Site Builder for WordPress."

The learning curve was steep and I spent some time researching how to do this or than (items such as creating a menu or a gallery of photos).

Enter the renewal of a long-time relationship with Jonathan Seaton, who built marvelous furniture and major indoor projects in our Snoqualmie home. I recommend his website Seaton's Fine Custom Woodworking to see what a skilled craftsman can do with dead trees!

I have been pleased as well as challenged become more acquainted with this talented craftsman and ultimately to update his web presence with a contemporary look.

Check it out! It's amazing! And so is he!
